A day in the life...

"I pushed the button, it was the greatest thrill I ever had" - sound clip /

When preparing for travel there is assesment testing in health and mind. For the males and females the requirements vary. Psychological testing is done for recognition and enhance behaviorism for effectivity. Adaptability is one the most important factors in space travel.

The highest positive attitude has been with the crew since simulations started. It was 12 days after the pre flight excercise with base when the anxiety started to creep on. Close to being terrified the only therapeutic release were photos of my family back on planet earth.

Between the rest of the crew, stress tablets are like cigarettes being smuggled on board. We are in the stretch and for the first time our hydrogen tank is being heated before the next stretch. The protocol on rendevous is similiar to docking a submarine for fuel except with microwave beams from earth heating our shuttle plate for hydrogen thrust. This is the first time the thruster is being tested in space and instructions have been announced. The crew crams in the deck module where virtual is about to becomes reality.
